I've started a new career. I'm now a Barista. I know... It's so weird! Ahahaha! Anyway, I'm still in training so, please, try not to ask me about espresso shots and Frappuccinos® just yet... Let's see next month. I might be a more credible source by then. Ahaha!
As I wrote earlier, I'm still in training and I was doing some work in the bar area - clearing the space, putting the coffee and cream bases, and the whipped cream in the fridge - when a pitcher of coffee base just spilled on me! This was in the first hour and a half of my shift. Amazing, noh?!
However, on a more positive and empowering note, by the end of the day, I conducted a coffee tasting for Espresso Roast French Pressed Coffee to some customers. It was really so nice to connect with them and to share a history of coffee with them. May it be the first of many. Who knows, I could qualify as a Coffee Master someday... skewed taste buds and all. Ahahaha!
I wonder what will happen tomorrow...
